The Northborough Free Library is pleased to offer our patrons Tech Tutoring appointments. They are one-on-one technology appointments with the Reference Department staff. These trainings are designed to help familiarize patrons with common computer and internet functions in order to encourage digital literacy in our community.

Tech Help appointments can cover the following:

• Basic computer skills
• Library resources such as online databases, Overdrive/Libby, Kanopy, Mango, etc.
• Email/Internet basics
• Social media basics
• Office productivity software (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, presentations)
• Basic computer troubleshooting

Tech Tutoring appointments FAQs:

• Appointments will be 30 minutes long
• Patrons can book 3 appointments per month.
• Appointments are scheduled between 2 PM - 5PM on Wednesdays. If you need to arrange an alternate time, please contact noboadults@cwmars.org.
• Please be sure to bring any passwords, devices, cables, and manuals you may need.
• Please note that these appointments take place at the library. We cannot service in-home items such as printers, televisions, smart speakers, or landline phones.
• Library staff cannot be held responsible for damage to patron-owned equipment.
